all my artworks are made under the influence of my inner conditions. this one is very symbolic. not long ago i was working in a perfect company - a publishing house that issued glossy magazines about culture, fashion and art. one of the magazines was called 'blacksquare', i've written about it before in this blog. not long ago the company got bankrupt and was closed, all staff was thrown out without paying any salary debts which in my case was big enough to efford not working for about half a year. i've made this artwork, the very first black one in my life, from the pencils marked with the magazine logo 'blacksquare', made it in the shape of malevich 'black square' which i consider to be one of the most depressing artworks ever made. this is how the art is born)
